An oil blend rather than a single oil. The first six ingredients on the panel are soybean, sunflower, avocado, castor, olive and grape seed, with pecan seed oil after them. Light oils that absorb, with castor doing the heavier sealing work at the ends.
Arginine is in there too, which is unusual in a scalp oil. Hair is mostly protein, and an amino acid works on the strand while the oils work on the skin underneath. Rosemary extract is the traditional partner to a growth routine, and tocopherol protects both the oils in the bottle and the scalp you put them on.
Made for styles you keep in. Protective styles, weaves and wigs, where the scalp gets forgotten because you cannot reach it. Also for edges and a hairline that has been under tension.
